Hospitality
Our Goal
We want to make everyone who attends Living Word Assembly feel welcomed and valued.  We can do this through coffee and treats, but more importantly, through our smiling faces and kind words.

WHAT WE VALUE IN OUR MINISTRY

1. COMMITMENT:
TO FOLLOW YOUR SCHEDULE

2. TEAMWORK:
WORKING WITH EACH OTHER.

3. SERVICE:
GIVING OF YOURSELF TO SERVE OTHERS.

Accomplishing the Goal
  • A warm and friendly smile
  • A cheerful, servants heart
  • Friendly conversation

"Just as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
Matthew 20:28

Ushers & Greeters
Vision

The vision of the Usher & Greeter is to be God's Doormen, to meet and greet all who attend Living Word Assembly as they first enter our doorway.  First time guests or long time members are to be loved in the same manner.  It is our intent to spread God's love to all who pass through our doors, to embrace those that have not previously met us as if they have always been a part of our Living Word family.

Mission

Our mission is to show our love through our sincerity, smiles, and our welcome handshakes.  To ensure that we have done our best to show God,s love through our actions as we
serve our God.

Values

Commitment - We are guided by the belief that God has called us to be servants to His people and serve out of willingness to our belief.

Honesty, Integrity, and Truthfulness - We value these as the foundation of our conduct and our church.  We recognize their importance in upholding our credibility with whom we serve.

People - People are our church's most important resource.  We work together as a team and each person's contribution is key to our ministry.

Responsiveness - We are dedicated to service, to identifying and addressing needs, and to being responsive.   We are here to serve our God.

Responsibilities

  • Greet each person in love as they enter our doors.
  • Ensure service is uninterrupted by disturbances.
  • Disseminate information to newcomers and request contact/follow-up information.
  • Ensure sanctuary is clean and ready for service.
